(BARBARESCO – CUNEO) Montaribaldi is a Piedmontese company, located in Alba, producer of excellent red and white wines, including Barbaresco, Barolo, Moscato d’Asti. Their corporate philosophy is the basis of their success, which took the name of Vini di Vigna.
Montaribaldi’s History and Philosophy
Tradition and innovation are the key words in the work philosophy. A refrain, perhaps, and also somehow an oxymoron, but which certainly describes well the way in which the Montaribaldi company has been taking care of its vineyards for three generations . A mix that does not leave you indifferent. We are west of the town of Alba , in Barbaresco , where the Montaribaldi vineyards are located, of an extremely high level.
The brothers Luciano and Roberto Taliano entered the business in 1994, a logical succession from one generation to the next, and built their properties from a modest start up to the current 25 hectares, a considerable total in Piedmont , especially around Alba. The brothers preferred, however, not to limit themselves to just the native area: among the wines of the line there are Arneis dal Roero , an area on the other side of the Tanaro river and a Barbera from the province of Asti . There is also a fragrant and elegant Moscato d’Asti, an excellent example of one of the most loved wines of Piedmont. Their success is certainly also attributable to their corporate philosophy, a sort of mantra that has led them to stand out and be appreciated.
The wines of Montaribaldi
This philosophy has taken the name of “Vini di Vigna” , a slogan that wants to summarize the uniqueness, the bond with the earth, the attention for the environment and the safeguarding of the territory through sustainable agriculture, in the awareness that this they produce is exactly what they are. The best wines also indicate that openness is a basic element in the brothers’ approach to winemaking: the wines, Barbaresco Palazzina, Montaribaldi, and Ricü, Barolo Borzoni , are modern but never excessive and always express elegance and the balance that are critical to success in today’s markets.
