Bagnadore Rosé 2011 – Barone Pizzini

Description: Fragrant and multifaceted nose that is articulated between raspberry, blood orange and reminiscences of viennoiserie.

The sip is tense, characterized by a strong acidity that gives freshness and rhythm, creating a pressing dialectic with a fine and material bubble that gives sensational volume and length to the palate.

Soft pressing, cold maceration of the whole grapes, fractionation of the musts, fermentation in barrique for 8 months followed by 128 months of bottle aging on the yeasts.

A Franciacorta Riserva of rare olfactory complexity, with an enveloping and expansive texture. Deservedly among the best rosé sparkling wines in Italy.

Description: Clear hints of raspberry, redcurrant, melted butter and baking notes stand out. In the mouth it is broad, flattering the palate with an iodine trail well balanced by a strong acidic grip.

Obtained from Pinot Noir grapes from historic vineyards in Erbusco. After manual harvest and short cold maceration, the vinification in oak barrels with fermentation, malolactic and basic maturation lasts 8 months. Only the best Pinot Noir is selected for blending. After the second fermentation in the bottle, the wine rests on the yeasts at the Ca’ del Bosco cellars for at least 8 years.

Franciacorta Rosé Brut ‘Flamingo’ Monte Rossa

Description:

Rose water, wild strawberries mix with brackish and viennoiserie tones. On the palate it is soft and enveloping, savory and with continuous fruity and red fruit returns.

The crus are vinified separately, partly in stainless steel tanks, partly in barriques. At the end of the refinement period of the base wines, the definitive cuvée is created with 85% vintage wines and 15% reserve wines. Characteristics:

The aromatic picture is interesting and outlines notes of red currant and pomegranate synergistically linked to nuances of candied fruit and viennoiserie. The sip is expansive and intense: it envelops urgently, with a marked acidity and dense and elegant bubbles of rare persistence.

Contract’s ‘For England’ Rosé is a Classic Method Pas Dosé produced from grapes from a historic vineyard at over 700 meters above sea level, facing south-east. After a soft pressing and a brief contact with the skins, the vins clairs rest before blending. The second fermentation in the bottle lasts at least 48 months following the Classic Method.
