Marco Bonfante, one of the two owners, graduated from the Oenological School of Alba, is an oenologist and takes care of the production and management of the company at 360 degrees. He is assisted by the consultant oenologist Gianluca Scaglione, by the agronomist Daniele Eberle and by his sister Micaela Bonfante who is in charge of administrative management and logistic organization.

The grapes produced come from managed vineyards and from selected vineyards, thanks to an intense and thriving “nègoce” activity. All cultivation operations are followed by the farm agronomist until harvest.

The line has a complex and very defined variety and is essentially divided into 2 groups:
The Vineyard Selection, i.e. wines produced only with grapes selected from the vineyards with the best exposures.
The Premium, offers excellent wines with an excellent quality / price ratio.

In fact, in general white wines are dry, fragrant and embellished with mineral sapid notes, without aging in wood, seeking to enhance the intrinsic characteristics of the grape. Among the main white wines of Marco Bonfante we find Gavi and Roero Arneis.

For red wines, the search for fruit and typicality gives wines with eloquent fruity or floral notes all voluminous on the palate, they are very elegant and balanced.

In the production of reds, aging in wood is essential for the softness and complexity of the structure, but without ever dominating the typical aromas and taste of the grape. The grapes protagonists of these wines only: Nebbiolo, Barbera, Albarossa and Cabernet Sauvignon.

It should be emphasized that the Bonfante Marco winery is the only one to produce Albarossa with the drying method.
Finally, the company also offers an interesting choice of sweet wines: Moscato and Brachetto as per tradition: fresh, expressive and sparkling and a selection of spirits with an assortment of grappas produced from Bonfante marc.
