Our tasting of the Frasca Toscana IGT 2015 wine of the Fattoria Varramista company complete with notes of aging, denomination, blend, serving temperature and alcohol volume.
Frasca Toscana IGT 2015
It has an impenetrable ruby red color. It suggests austere hints to the nose in a beautiful dialectic between ripe berries, cherries, coffee powder, humus and tobacco.
On the palate it is juicy and enveloping with presence but silky tannins, supported by a pleasant acidity and softness. Final with echoes on the fruit that confirms and expands the olfactory sensations. Sangiovese ages in oak cone cones for 16 months, while Syrah and Merlot in barrique for 12 months.
A tasty, affable wine, with an austere nose and great enveloping on the palate. Good aging potential.
