Our tasting of the DOC Bolgheri Superiore 2015 wine of the Casa di Terra company complete with notes of aging, denomination, blend, serving temperature and alcohol by volume.
Doc Bolgheri Superiore
It visually has a bright ruby red color with nuances that tend to garnet. The nose opens wide-ranging from pleasant notes of ripe cherry, blackberry embellished with hints of undergrowth, humus, notes of goudron, roasting and leather.
It reveals itself to the voluminous palate with a velvety tannic texture of medium thickness, which is counterbalanced by an important acid shoulder of backbone that gives great freshness. Harmonious, balsamic finish, of great persistence and elegance. Refines 20 months in 225 lt French oak barriques with medium toasting, 20% 1st passage, 40% 2nd and 40% 3rd passage. Refinement in bottle 12 months.
Excellent aging potential.
