Tasting notes, service temperature detailed info of the red wine Barolo Rocche di Castiglione DOCG 2015 by Sordo Giovanni.

SORDO GIOVANNI

It dresses the glass of an intense garnet red, the nose spreads complex and fine, articulating itself between intense hints of ripe berries, allusions of plum embellished with licorice, tobacco and sandalwood. On the palate it is opulent and elegant, with a very thick tannic texture and synergistically linked to an acidity of the nerve that gives great freshness and drinkability.

Harmonious finish of great persistence, in which balsamic suggestions of great persistence echo. It ages for 24 months in Slavonian oak and steel barrels, for 4-6 months, and for a further 6 months in the bottle, before being placed on the market. Excellent aging potential.
