The name Spaccasassi derives from the Lucan dialect and indicates a tree (the Bagolaro) which by survival instinct even manages to break the stones with its roots. As the name suggests, it is a powerful and long-lasting wine. Very intense bright ruby red color. Fresh fruit on the nose, with hints of rosemary and tobacco. Intense but elegant body with well balanced tannins. Maceration on the skins for 6/7 weeks. An entirely new and excellent red wine in the regional panorama.
