Wine tasting of Logonovo’s Cinqueperlogonovo Toscana Igt 2014

We taste the red wine of Cinqueperlogonovo 2014

Cinqueperlogonovo 2014 shows a ruby color with shades of intense purple that immediately give the idea of a proud and dominant character, but at the same time persistent and balanced by the lasting pleasure that foreshadows an even more exciting future. On the nose its aroma is intense, full of hints of wild forest fruits, plum, with notes of flowers that express vivacity such as slightly dried violet, a slight hint of spicy, persistent, soft, warm and full-bodied, but at the same time fresh and with good tannins. The grapes are: Merlot (35%), Sangiovese (30%), Syrah (20%), Sagrantino (10%) and Petit Verdot(5%) then aged for one year in oak barrels. It is exciting by the glass.

The company that produces this label is Logonovo :

Logonovo  is immersed in the huge expanses of vineyards that seem to be lost on the horizon. A plot where there were no vineyards. A in unspoiled in the Castelgiocondo estate of Frescobaldi. Perhaps the fate of this company is contained in the surname of Marco Keller. His incredible challenge is to buy a fund in the land of Brunello with a ban on producing it, and it is here that we understand the philosophy of this impatient and creative character who, with the imaginative collaboration of the winemaker consultant Roberto Cipresso, created vineyards where they did not exist with a stimulating clonal choice that is to cultivate Sangiovese, Merlot, Syrah, Petit Verdot and Sagrantino. All this gives meaning to the name of the Logonovo company because it denotes an innovative instinct.
