It has a bright ruby red color with nuances that tend to garnet. The nose opens wide ranging from pleasant notes of ripe cherry, red currant and violet violet embellished with more austere spicy suggestions of licorice, tobacco and coffee. On the palate it boasts a thick but velvety and enveloping tannic texture, with a pleasant minerality that gives volume in the mouth. Harmonious, balsamic, long persistence and great elegance. A wine with great aging potential. It macerates on the skins for 15 days at controlled temperatures, then it ages in large barrels, then 18 months in 225-liter barrels of first passage, finally a year in the bottle.
