Canelli.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong><!--more--><\/strong><\/h2>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Azienda Pianbello&#8217;s History and Philosophy<br \/><\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The Pianbello farm managed by <\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">the brothers Pietro and Mario Cirio<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> is located in Piedmont, in the highest hills between the <\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">town of Loazzolo<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> in the province of <\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Asti<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> and <\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Canelli. <\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Hills that take the name of Langhe astigiane, 400 m. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">above sea level, in an uncontaminated corner in the midst of Moscato, Dolcetto, Chardonnay vineyards and luxuriant woods.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">So much so that from 22 June 2014, Canelli and Asti Spumante have been proclaimed a UNESCO World Heritage <\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Site<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> and an integral part of the territory of the Piedmont Wine Landscape: <\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Langhe-Roero<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> and <\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Monferrato<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> . <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">A winemaking tradition dating back to Roman times, that of these areas, among the most important in Italy.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">And it is precisely between these two municipalities that <\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Azienda Pianbello<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> has its vineyards that seem designed in that typical Piedmontese landscape and extend over <\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">60 hectares<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> , <\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">31<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> of which are <\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">vineyards<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> , with a production of white and red wines. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">This area, which for several months of the year, is exposed to sea winds which give <\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">the wines<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> a <\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">particular<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> aroma and <\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">taste<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"> . <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The grape processing systems are traditional and rest on an ancient knowledge and on <\/span><\/span><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">the experience that the Cirio family<\/span><\/span><\/strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">, with years of peasant history behind it, it dedicates entirely to the production of an excellent wine and makes the best use of the exceptional resources that these lands offer, following for two generations the traditions of the typical wines of the Asti Langa and Canelli.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The wines of Azienda Pianbello<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The highest percentage of production goes to Moscato but not least is the production quality of wines such as Dolcetto and Barbera d&#8217;Asti, thanks not only to the ability in processing, but also to all the advanced equipment and technologies of which the cellar makes use , to carry out the whole process up to bottling, ensuring that the wine-making processes are always respected in terms of quality for both white and red wines. The wines of Piandello range from Moscato d&#8217;Asti DOCG, to Pianb\u00e9 Alta Langa Classic Method, to Pianb\u00e8 Ros\u00e8 Brut Classic Method, Nuvole Piemonte D.O.C. Chardonnay, at Loazzolo Pianb\u00e9-Loazzolo D.O.C.
