Murva’s History and Philosophy<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Friuli Venezia Giulia is an area that has always been rich in varieties of vines, which produce wines among the best in Italy. Land of ancient winemaking tradition, where white wines stand out, but where red wines also find their excellence. The Murva winery, resides in these lands, in Moraro in the province of Gorizia, right in the production area of \u200b\u200bthe Friuli Isonzo Doc, an area that represents the expression of a unique terroir and a particular balance of related factors between man-grape variety- soil-climate, which constitutes the extraordinary variety of this area, facing downwards, in the two micro-areas of the Rive Alte and Rive Di Giare.<\/p>\n

\"murva\"<\/p>\n

The company was founded in 2009, by the will of the two spouses Alberto Pelos and Renata Pizzulin, both from families of wine growers and is part of the Italian Federation of Independent Winegrowers. The 4 hectares of business are located in the four different areas in the municipality of Moraro and in two areas in the neighboring municipality. The company’s historic vineyards are: Teolis, Melaris, Paladis and Murellis and while the most recent are: Monuments and Corvatis. Each of these places has its own pedological and climatic characteristics and the grapes placed on these soils vary both by grape variety and by soil composition.<\/p>\n

In fact, the Teolis and Corvatis vines are grown in Sauvignon blanc, while the Monuments and Paladis vines in Chardonnay, instead, only the Melaris grape in malvasia, and finally the Murellis grape is grown in refosco by the red peduncle. The lands on which the vineyards are located are composed of marl erosion clays and dolomite limestone, which allow a different identity for each wine produced, thanks also to the adoption of crops for the care of the vineyards drawn from the Austro-Hungarian, French and Friulian traditions , which here in the Isonzo have taken root over the centuries.<\/p>\n

The wines of Murva<\/strong><\/h2>\n

\"IMGThe wines produced can be defined as natural wines, thanks to a winemaking practice aimed at respecting the environment and biodiversity, with a clear oenological approach, in which the wines are processed, not only according to the variables related to the variety, to the mesoclimate , but also to the different site where the available vineyards are grown and where the only passage of man in front of the plant and the possibility of using his hands, can give the best answer, compared to the vegetative balance of the plant, which lying its habitat, it can restore a purity through vinified grapes, where there is no contamination and which create the necessary conditions for the creation of the Cru.<\/p>\n

\"murva\"The line offered is essential and well organized and the wines reflect the transparency that allows the aromas of the grapes transformed into wine to be felt without interference.<\/p>\n


\"IMGAmong the various wines produced, the whites Friuli Isonzo Sauvignon Teolis Doc and Friuli Isonzo Chardonnay Paladis Doc are an excellent expression of this. Among the reds, Friuli Isonzo Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso Murellis Doc, reflects the attention of the processing for complexity and softness.<\/p>\n
