Tasting notes of the wine Resultum Sangiovese Rubicone 2012 by Umberto Cesari
It is visually intense ruby red with garnet reflections. The nose opens wide with a bouquet that ranges from hints of ripe cherry, blackberries and spicy hints of black pepper, embellished with references to undergrowth and humus. On the palate it is persuasive and penetrating, with a tannic texture of medium thickness that is engaging and pleasantly exuberant, supported harmoniously by an acidity of nerve that gives great freshness. Long, balanced and balsamic finish
Refine in large French oak barrels for 12 months to end with bottle aging for at least 18 months.
