Sapaio - Toscana Rosso IGT 2016 by Podere Sapaio
It has an intense and brilliant ruby red color, an elegant bouquet on the nose that unleashes intense intense notes of ripe cherry and blackberries enhanced by a counterpoint of spices and balsamic suggestions. On the palate it follows with a thick, penetrating and silky tannic texture mitigated in a harmonious balance by a vibrant acidity of nerve, which gives freshness and hints of blood orange. It opens for a harmonious, balsamic, very long lasting finish. Refine 18 months in barrique and 12 months in bottle.
Excellent aging potential.
