Wine tasting of Collio Col Disore 2016 di Marco Felluga Russiz Superiore

Tasting notes of the wine Collio Col Disore 2016 by Marco Felluga

It has a brilliant golden yellow color. The nose is voluminous and intense with notes of peach and white grapefruit, embellished with a hawthorn floral. On the palate, an important mineral vigor is created, which gives great structure, integrating harmoniously with the acid shoulder, which gives freshness and drinkability and encourages drinking. Great persistence, closing on a pleasant almond note. The grapes, partly overripe, are separated from the stem. The juice and the pulp undergo a cold maceration, therefore a slight pressing that allows the separation from the skins.

It ferments in oak barrels and is then left to rest for about twelve months on the lees and a year in the bottle.

Year: 2017
Appellation: Collio DOC

Alcohol: 13.5%

The company that produces this label is Marco Felluga

Founded in 1956 by Marco Felluga, to whom we owe the path of innovation and research of qualitative excellence, but with a true dynasty of winemakers behind it and which has been able to exploit the potential of some grapes and territories suited to the vine, and currently is led by his son Roberto, who carries on that original philosophy, which sees him committed to the whole of a production system and a continuous research developed and consolidated over the years, making this winery a point of reference for the whole Friuli area.
