We taste the red wine Campoleone 2015 Umbria IGT
It has an impenetrable ruby red color. The nose is broad, with a night of blackcurrant, plum and vegetal notes of humus, and to turn to notes of spicy cloves, nutmeg, closing on a finish reminiscent of leather, tobacco and incense. In the mouth it is warm with a soft and thick tannic texture, excellent balsamic finish that fades over the pine, long and persistent. Following the malolactic fermentation, totally carried out in barrique, the maturation of Sangiovese and Merlot takes place separately for a period of twelve months in French oak barrels. The wines are assembled only before being bottled where they are refined
at least six months
Grapes: 50% Merlot, 50% Sangiovese
The range offered is divided into three different proposals: the line: "Vini Centanni", dedicated to the centenary of the birth of Ferruccio Lamborghini, the "I Ours ROSSI Classici" line and the line: "Le Bollicine". Among the labels we report the sensual and persistent Torami, a Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese in perfect balance, and the complex and satisfying Campoleone, where Merlot and Sangiovese are told to perfection.
