Valpolicella Superiore Ripasso DOC 2015
It has an intense ruby red color with garnet nuances. The nose spreads broadly ranging from notes of overripe red fruit and blackberry embellished with notes of medicinal herbs and a light spicy of black pepper and vanilla. The palate is warm, enveloping and silky, with a tannic texture of medium structure perfectly integrated with the acidity that sustains its freshness.
It is "passed over" on the marcs of Amarone. Subsequently it carries out a second maceration / fermentation of about 8-10 days. After racking, the refinement continues for 30% in barriques and 70% in oak barrels for 12 - 18 months
