It has an intense and brilliant ruby red color, with an unraveling an elegant bouquet that deep intense notes of ripe cherries and blackberries, or enlarged by a counterpoint of delicate nuances of leather, cloves and roasting notes. On the palate it presses with a very thick, penetrating and silky tannic texture mitigated in a harmonious balance by a vibrant acidity, giving freshness and reminiscent of blood orange. It opens up for a harmonious, balsamic and very persistent finish.
It is made by spontaneous fermentation in open barriques with 8 daily manual punching down. Aged in French oak barriques of first and second passage for 24 months, 6 months in bottle
