Tasting notes of Gelsonero Lacryma Christi of Vesuvio Rosso 2016
From the impenetrable ruby color the "Gelsonero" boasts a broad bouquet with hints of undergrowth, red currant, plum, aromatic herbs, carob, myrtle and fine spices. On the palate it is enveloping, harmonious, with an interesting tannic texture to which a pleasant freshness contrasts. Interesting finish with a seductive balsamic and vegetable persistence. Maturation in barrels for two years and produced exclusively from company grapes grown with organic farming.

The company that produces this label is Villa Dora
Villa Dora is a family-run winery. It was born in 1997 from the desire of Vincenzo Ambrosio to dedicate himself to an estate on the slopes of Vesuvius, with the passion and experience of those who know this area very well. Already existed vines and olive trees, however a radical restructuring of the crops was carried out to create the basis for a high quality production.
