Tasting notes of Monti Pignotto Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Colline Teramane Riserva DOCG 2010
The Pignotto Wine Montepulciano d'Abruzzo Colline Teramane Riserva DOCG 2010, is presented in a persuasive intense ruby red color. The nose is powerful, ample and growing in ripe black and red berry fruit, hints of violets, dark spices and aromatic herbs, with tertiary hints of chocolate, eucalyptus, undergrowth, tobacco and vanilla due to aging in wood. The entrance to the palate is enveloping, soft and dry, with a medium body, balanced by an opulent tannin. In the finish it is intense and persistent.
