Tasting notes of Vignaquaranti Barbera D'Asti Superiore Thelém DOCG 2014 wine
Barbera d ’Asti Superiore Thelèm has a ruby red color with garnet reflections. The nose is intense, characteristic with hints of wild berries such as blackberry, cherry, with a slight spiciness of vanilla. On the palate the fruity sensations take shape, it is dry and harmonious. In the mouth it remains a decidedly fine and elegant wine, with ripe and soft tannins, in the end it persists, the important structure prevails which emerges from aging in oak barrels.

The Vignaquaranti winery is located in the southern tip of Monferrato, near Asti, in the Langhe area, in Quaranti in the province of Asti. Immersed in an exciting landscape with historic vineyards for the production of Barbera Dogc and exposed to the south-east, and the other half of Arneis and Nascetta, original Piedmontese vines. It boasts an excellent wine production, with low costs, but of undisputed excellence thanks to the collaboration of the oenologist Guido Beltrami.
