Let us taste the Pinot Grigio 2015 Friuli Grave DOC – il Tralcetto
It is a fresh and vigorous white. The grapes are picked by hand and the wine is made slowly, maturing with its lees. The colour of golden straw, it offers a slow developing bouquet of peaches and citrus to the nose and is rich and well balanced to drink, with fresh-tangy energy and well-integrated tannins. It is excellent as an aperitif or paired with fish or fresh cheeses.
About the Winery: Italo Cescon.
Founded in 1957, this Treviso winery is still in continuous growth. Its yellow label gave it immediate distinction as did the short length of vine tied around the bottle the Tralcetto and, although this was an unstudied creation, it was destined to become the distinctive symbol of this winery. Today the third generation management continues to produce quality wines by keeping an eye both on the past and the future.
